Board Member

My husband Jim and I became affiliated with GRRoM in 2006, when we adopted two Golden dogs and participated in the adoption awareness and fundraiser events. Over time, we observed the incredible work that the GRRoM volunteers do: Rescuing unwanted/discarded dogs; Fostering in-home to study each dog’s unique qualities, personality, and special needs; Caring for their medical, emotional, and behavioral concerns; Then ensuring the best opportunity for success in their fur-ever home.

Since then, we adopted three more GRRoM Goldens and fostered dogs in our home. I also volunteered as a home inspector, interviewer, and transporter. In 2024, I look forward to retirement and devoting more time as a GRRoM board member, working alongside these dedicated self-less volunteers that support this amazing mission to rescue, restore and re-home all these gorgeous Golden Retrievers.
