Cooper is a beautiful one-year old golden. He is a very loving, playful and affectionate boy but has not been able to play with the exuberance and joy of a healthy pup. He is scheduled for a life-saving surgery in mid-November to repair a liver shunt that is allowing toxins to build up in his blood, making him very lethargic and causing vomiting and seizures.
A couple of months ago, Cooper's family reached out to GRRoM when he was diagnosed with this life-threatening condition. Recently he needed a costly, but necessary MRI to help his doctors determine the best type of surgical procedure to repair the shunt. The surgery is estimated between $4500 and $5500. Donations to help Cooper's family pay for his medical needs are very much appreciated.
