Goldens with Special Needs: Cooper

Some of our adopted Goldens require ongoing medical care which GRRoM committed to providing at time of adoption. Read more about these sweet dogs and consider donating towards their continued care.

Cooper

Cooper is a beautiful one-year old golden. He is a very loving, playful and affectionate boy but has not been able to play with the exuberance and joy of a healthy pup. He is scheduled for a life-saving surgery in mid-November to repair a liver shunt that is allowing toxins to build up in his blood, making him very lethargic and causing vomiting and seizures.

A couple of months ago, Cooper's family reached out to GRRoM when he was diagnosed with this life-threatening condition. Recently he needed a costly, but necessary MRI to help his doctors determine the best type of surgical procedure to repair the shunt. The surgery is estimated between $4500 and $5500. Donations to help Cooper's family pay for his medical needs are very much appreciated
