Sophie’s Story

Sophie came to us August 1, 2022 when her family surrendered her at age 12.  That first day she was scared, shaking and unsure of her new surroundings. She claimed a dog bed in the living room as her own and rarely left 'her spot' the first month or so. Fast forward nearly a year and Sophie is happy and spunky. She walks to the corner daily is is known to 'gallop' around her back yard! July 13th, Sophie celebrated her Golden Birthday- She turned 13!
