We are delighted to announce the adoption of Achilles (now known as Henry). This boy is going to a loving and wonderful home!
About:
Hi! My name is Achilles, called Killies for short. I am a solid 83 lbs., and I might just be the best boy you will ever meet. I was well loved at my original home, but my mom’s life changed, and I moved into my foster home where I am also well loved (I guess I must be pretty lovable). I am really well behaved and know a lot of commands. I come when called, love to go on walks and I am getting pretty good on the leash. I like to point out birds and squirrels to my foster mom while we walk and keep my nose to the ground, sniffing every nook and cranny. I still get a little scared on car rides. I used to live with other animals including dogs, cats and even ferrets! They say I have a history of resource guarding but only with other dogs. I would do well with either a novice or experienced family. A physical fence would be really great but not mandatory. Obedience training would also be nice but not mandatory because I am already a fairly obedient guy. I have no experience with children so children in my new home must be at least 10 years old and supervised around me.
