Foster a Golden
-
Foster
Fostering provides a loving and supportive environment allowing a Golden to fully express their personality. This is a critical factor for increasing adoption rates and getting Goldens to their fur-ever home.
-
Foster to Retire
We believe every dog can be rescued, no matter their age. Those who choose to Foster to Retire commit to give our senior Goldens an environment of love, security, and peace in their remaining months, weeks, or days.
Without Foster Families, We Don’t Have a Rescue!
Is there room in your home and heart to foster a Golden? Fostering lets you have a dog on YOUR timetable! Benefits of fostering include having veterinary care paid for, access to a babysitting network, and mentorship from an experienced foster.
Currently Being Fostered
As a foster based rescue, many of the Goldens who come into our rescue end up being adopted by their foster homes! This is noted in the Golden’s profile as “Currently being fostered to adopt”.

Easy to Work With
Having fostered for a number of rescues I can say that GRRoM is the easiest to work with. They're attentive and responsive. Vet visits are paid for at the time of service so there's no hassle with trying to get reimbursed. Any specialty equipment that's needed is often available.

Fostering a Golden is Rewarding
You get to choose which dogs you want to foster based on the info that's known about them. The very best thing about fostering a Golden is the knowledge that for this dog you have turned their life around. You'll see that gratitude and love in their eyes and tails every day. Please consider becoming a foster.
