“I found Bear from a post of Love of Louie on Facebook. He was found on the streets of Detroit by a good Samaritan who brought him into her home. We contacted GRRoM. He was then surrendered to GRRoM and we became his foster family. He came to us with many challenges: no microchip, medical records or name. After seeing our vet, Bear was diagnosed with Heartworm, serious ear infections and had Anaplasmosis from ticks. He will be examined in June as he has two fusions on his vertebrae and will possibly need surgery or rehabilitation. After intense heartworm treatment, his tests came back negative. He now is being treated for hot spots and needs some teeth removed and will be examined for a growth which causes him inability to sit. He improves daily and is such a sweet kind Golden Soul. He does have manners, listens, follows and loves us. Gets along well with our 2 dogs. Please consider donating to Bear's cause.
