Duke
Male puppy
Status:
Adopted!
We are very happy to announce that Duke has been adopted by the Laurence family. Thank you to Foster Connor. Thanks also to Home Visitor Kathy and Interviewer Carol.
About:
Duke is the sweetest Golden puppy. He was rescued from an Ohio puppy mill and weighs around 45 lbs. He is a quick learner and is catching on to basic commands using positive reinforcement. His favorite things in the whole world are a tennis ball and a Benebone. He loves to lounge around, cuddle, and just be near you. His foster has been doing leash work with him, but he still needs further training. His potty training is coming along, but a little more time is needed to be reliable. Duke loves other dogs and should be placed in a home with another dog. He loves his crate and goes in on his own. Positive reinforcement training is mandatory with proof of enrollment required at time of adoption. Duke would do well with a novice or experienced family. A physical fence is required. Does well with children but GRRoM requires children be 10 or older when there is no history. Interactions with cats are unknown.
