12/8/23 Update

🐾 Maverick's Road to Recovery Update 🐾 Our resilient English Cream Polar brother, Maverick, is rocking his recovery after a total hip replacement on November 20th! 🌟 He strutted into his follow-up appointment with a wagging tail and a heart full of excitement. Stitches out, and the verdict? Everything looks fantastic! 🎉

Maverick can't wait to ditch those restrictions and get back to his favorite activities—greeting everyone with boundless enthusiasm, playing tag with his brother Goose, and exploring every nook of the yard. 🌳💙 Despite the eager glint in his eyes, Maverick's family is gently reminding him that a little more patience is key for his own well-being. Six more weeks of restrictions, buddy! 🗓️ Your journey inspires us, Maverick, and we're cheering you on every step of the way! 🌈✨

November 20th, 2023 Update: Surgery Day!

Surgery went well and Maverick is home recovering. This boy has a lot of running to get to, so he is using all of his energy now to heal!

November 17th, 2023 Update

Maverick is gearing up for surgery at Blue Pearl on November 20th! Thank you to all who helped to fundraise as we were able to collect $4800 for Maverick’s surgery. This young pup has a long and healthy life ahead of him!

Maverick update: October 17th, 2023

Maverick, one of the “polar brothers”, has surgery scheduled for November 20th, 2023 at Blue Pearl in Southfield. Fortunately, the orthopedic surgeon and the neurologist agreed that Maverick's cluster seizures are under control and he could qualify now for this procedure!

We have also been asking for donations to help with his total hip replacement operation. We are still needing help with this. Any amount would be so beneficial and appreciated! Above is a picture of Maverick, always with his brother, Goose, close by.
