About:
This handsome, healthy 72 lb boy was owner surrendered due to some issues with one of the dogs in the family, but was fine with the others and the cat. He likes to play with his Golden foster brother although sometimes it is rough play -- but boys will be boys! He does well at the dog park with other dogs and people. He doesn’t chew people stuff, but he likes stuffed toys and rope toys. He also enjoys ice cubes, carrots and apples! Marley is very affectionate once he gets to know you and will want to be in your presence most of the time. He's very smart and knows some basic commands. A positive reinforcement training class is required for this guy with paid registration due at time of adoption. Classes are also great for bonding and socializing and building confidence. You may even want to try out some of the many really popular, fun and challenging dog sports like agility, scent work, barn hunt, rally, etc. He is somewhat nervous in new situations but responds well to treats! Marley adjusted very well to his foster family in a short period of time. He would do best with an experienced family, and any children must be over age 12. A physical fence is required, and it is imperative that Marley receive plenty of walks and exercise to keep him happy! Marley likes to sleep on the bed or next to it.
