About:

Hi, it’s me Sammy!  I told my foster mom that I wanted to talk to you myself. It’s MY forever home that we’re talking about! The best way to describe me is a sweet cuddle bug.  Like most Goldens, I like being near my people and have no concept of personal space.  Right now, I live with my foster Golden brother, and I adore him. We like to wrestle and play chase in the backyard.  I also like to play fetch, chew bones, and walk around with stuffed toys in my mouth. Meeting new people and dogs is so much fun.  I am really a friendly guy.  I haven’t been out in the big wide world much, but I am ready for adventure.  I would love to have another playmate in my forever home or maybe just you if you are willing to play with me!  My mom is starting to take me on walks, and I will need more leash training.  Because of my young age, I need a fenced back yard.  I would do well with a novice or experienced family and children should be at least 10 years old.  Positive reinforcement training is mandatory with proof of enrollment required at time of adoption. Training will help us create a bond together. A quiet household where my family is home a lot of the time would suit me best. My mom says I need someone who is gentle and patient with me as I gain confidence.
