Sandy

3 year old Female Golden Doodle

Status:

Adopted!

About:

Meet Sandy, your new best friend! Sandy is a 53-pound Goldendoodle with a heart full of love and a gentle spirit. Sandy is approximately 3 years old. Recently surrendered due to a family divorce and some unfortunate neglect, Sandy is now ready to find her forever home where she can truly shine. This sweet girl is the definition of affection! Whether she’s at your feet during the day, snuggling close on the couch or bed, or reaching out with her paw for a pat, Sandy is sure to fill your life with endless love. She's crate-trained but doesn’t need it. Sandy is trustworthy, housebroken, and eager to be your loyal companion. While she might not be interested in toys, Sandy is a dream in so many other ways! She’s calm and cooperative during baths, car rides, vet visits, and walks beautifully on a leash. Sandy also did wonderfully at the pet store.  At home, she greets guests with a bark before quickly warming up to them. She knows basic commands and comes when called.  Although Sandy is currently the only dog in her foster home, she’s had no issues with dogs, cats, or kids in her previous home but GRRoM recommends kids be over the age of 8. It’s important to note that Sandy has a manageable skin condition that requires regular maintenance. With proper care, she’ll continue to improve and thrive. A physical fence is preferred but other forms of containment will be considered. Sandy would do well with an experienced or novice family. Positive reinforcement obedience training is not required though always a good idea. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Sandy is ready to bring joy to your life.
