Shelby
Born: 10/23/2022 - Female
Status:
Adopted as of 1/30/2023!
About:
This happy little girl is adorable. She is sweet and playful and keeps herself entertained with toys. She gets along well with people and other dogs. Shelby has had some potty training, but she is not fully housebroken yet. You can expect to make frequent trips outside with her to complete the training. A physical fenced yard is required at her new home. No electric fences or tie-outs! Positive reinforcement puppy classes will also be required to help her learn basic commands and bond with her new family, with paid receipt for registration due at time of adoption. This will also give you a foundation if you decide to do any of the very fun dog sports like agility, rally, dock diving, barn hunt, etc. later on. Shelby will need to be spayed at one year, which will be a condition included in the adoption contract. Potential adopters need to understand that a puppy is a little bundle of non-stop energy, until they fall asleep from having too much fun! When they wake up, they’ll be right back at it again. They need PLENTY of exercise and attention! A year from now, Shelby will be looking like a big dog but acting like a crazy teenager (aka bratty adolescent!), so it is wise to consider whether YOU have the time, energy, and patience needed to help her become the dogs she is meant to be.
