About:

This beautiful redheaded, white muzzled, girl is looking for her forever home. She’s a healthy, delightful gal, eager to please, always up for a game of fetch and she will surprise you with how fast she can run!  Sissy had a huge change in her life when she came into GRRoM. She previously lived in a rural area where she was free to roam and moved to condo living and leash walks. It took her about 10 days to acclimate completely, gaining more confidence each day.  She is excellent on leash and loves her walks, always happy to meet the dogs and people she encounters. She is completely fine with our senior shih tzu and senior cat. She is not crate trained, but she is housebroken and trustworthy when left in the house. Even though Sissy is happy on leash walks, she would love to have a physically fenced in yard to be free to run, chase squirrels and explore. Though a fence is preferred, other forms of containment will be considered. Sissy would love a family that has someone home most of the time. She loves loves loves to be petted & will nudge your hand for more. She does not like getting into or out of a car. She does well once the car is moving but gets nervous each time it slows down or stops.  Her fosters are working with her on this. She rarely barks. When someone comes to the door, she will give one big woof and then go to the door with her tail wagging.  She has no known experience with children so children must be over the age of 10. Sissy would do well with a novice or experienced family.  No formal obedience training required but always recommended.  Sissy will be a loving addition to any home.  You just have to meet her to fall in love!
