About:

Trax is a sweet boy who lived his whole life outside as an Amish breeder dog. He's a big boy weighing in at 100 lbs., but a gentle giant. He's adapted incredibly well to the good life indoors, enjoying a soft bed, toys, and most of all human attention. Trax absolutely loves everyone he meets and wants nothing more than to be with you at all times. He's a laid-back guy but loves his daily walks and will insist on bringing a toy with him every time. He slept in a crate for the first few nights after his rescue but after that he proved he could be trusted with free reign of the house.  Trax would thrive in a home where someone is home most of the time to give him the love and attention he missed out on during all of his years living outside. He has done well with older children, seeking them out for attention and politely asking for a bite of their snacks.  He gets along great with his golden foster sister but doesn't seem to love male dogs.  Cats are an unknown though he does have a strong response when he sees one on TV.    Formal obedience training not mandatory but always recommended.  He is a big boy and still learning leash manners and needs someone that will work with him to become the best he can be.  He would do alright with a novice family.  A fenced in yard would be ideal but other forms of containment will also be considered.
