About:
Weighing in at a whopping 35 lbs. this sweet boy is much more of a Steve Rogers than his alter ego Captain America. He currently responds well to “Cappy”. He was surrendered to GRRoM because his family could no longer care for him. He is a happy boy, loves everyone he meets, listens well and longs to give love and be loved in return. He knows how to sit and has decent recall. He needs some work on a leash. He has played well with the resident dogs at his foster home and every other dog he has met while in their care. He was seen getting love from the resident cat. Cappy loves children and can go to a house with children 2 and older. He is a laid-back guy who is just as happy cuddling as he is going for a run. He likes to play fetch and chew on sticks. He does have some puppy tendencies and can be mouthy in the gentle puppy fashion. He sleeps well in a crate at night but has anxiety when being left home alone during the day. He also really likes to drink water which then makes him urinate frequently. After being evaluated for this, turns out he just likes to drink and there are no medical issues. He rides well in a car. He doesn’t require a physical fence; other forms of containment will likely be acceptable. Obedience training is encouraged but not required.
