Diamond now known as Daisy!

Birthday: 8/24/2020 - Female

Status:

Adopted!

The Maisano family adopted Diamond, now known as Daisy! Thank you to Fosters Beckie & Joe and Interviewer Pam.
Daisy now has a dog sister, Carmel.  She made herself right at home!  She ran so happily in the yard at her new home; she looked like she was truly enjoying a new life.

About:

Diamond is a beautiful golden who came to GRRoM because her owner had to move.  She is a big girl that and will need a family who is committed to helping her achieve an ideal weight. Diamond will need to be spayed as soon as her weight is down, per veterinarian recommendation. She has a calm nature and quietly hangs out with her fosters while they work from home.  When she is bored, she lets you know by bringing you a random item from another room.  She does well on a leash and is working on crate training.  Due to her young age, Diamond will need a physically fenced yard and positive reinforcement obedience training is recommended.  She previously lived with teenagers; interactions with young children are unknown so children in her new home must be age 10 or older.  She lived with a 13-year-old cat at her foster home.  She previously lived with a male golden as well. Diamond will do well with a novice or experienced family as long as they are committed to feeding her properly, helping her lose weight and giving her plenty of exercise. She is one of the best natured and well-behaved dogs the foster has ever had.  If you are ready for a great new family member, come meet her.
