About:
Meet Gracie. She is an adorable pup that is ready for her forever home. She was surrendered from a loving home because they just didn't have the time to give her the attention she needed. She is all puppy and will need guidance through her adorable puppy stages. She graduated from 2 weeks of boot camp at Mid-Michigan K9 Academy where she did well and became proficient at many commands. She is really smart and anxious to please. She loves people and just wants to be near you all the time. Lovable to a fault, she looks for attention and will smother you with affection. She is a field golden, with shorter hair and smaller stature. Athletic and strong. She walks well on leash but, if allowed, she will pull some. Gracie is still a puppy, so if left unsupervised, she will look for opportunities to be mischievous. So shut those doors and clear your counters until she learns the rules. She is crate trained and goes in readily and she is currently sleeping in her crate at night. Gracie was raised with children, and she has done well with other dogs. No known exposure to cats. Physical fence is preferred but other forms of containment will be considered. Positive reinforcement obedience classes not required but can serve as a bonding experience. Gracie will do well with either a novice or an experienced family. Children should be 8 years or older.
