GRRoM is very pleased to announce that Leo has been adopted!

Leo had a 4 hour drive to his new home and he did great.  Also, Leo's new family was kind enough to carve a wooden figurine of Leo out of Catalpa wood and gift it to his Foster Family.

About:

Leo is a healthy, 77 lb.  golden who has a heart of gold. He was surrendered by his owner because of allergies in the family. He was clearly well loved and taken care of. This is demonstrated by his gentle mannerisms. He most loves being by your side and being petted. Leo is crate trained, loves his toys, walks well on a leash, and loves fetching a tennis ball. Leo is a “Gumby Golden” as he is always ready to go with the flow. A physical fence is preferred but other types of containment will be considered.  He has taken well to his foster's tie out. Leo can be adopted to a family with children, but no other dogs please. Cats are unknown. No formal obedience training required. He will do well in a novice or experienced family. Leo rides well in a car and loves an occasional excursion! Walks and exercise are important to keep his weight down. He is so sweet when he meets new people, he positions himself so he can maximize the pets!  Come meet this guy and be prepared to fall in love.
