Lizzie

Lizzie was found as a stray. We cannot confirm her age, but the vet approximates it to be around 8 years old.

Status:

Adopted!

About:

Lizzie is a happy and easy going 69 lb. girl that was surrendered due to her owner's financial difficulties.  She is very well behaved, politely greets visitors and rarely barks. She loves to go for walks and ride in the car. She is crate trained, but it isn’t needed as she is completely trustworthy in the house.  Lizzie lives for her tennis balls. Her favorite person is whoever will throw one for her. She will even bring it back and place it at your feet hoping you will throw it again. A physical fence is required since Lizzie could run thru an invisible fence going after her ball. Lizzie needs to be an only dog. She ignores her foster cat. She knows some basic commands and is a quick learner. Lizzie is terrified of thunderstorms. Give her a dark space for her to hunker down and she will be fine. For really severe storms, a little medication will be needed.
Children are an unknown so kids will need to be 10 or older. Lizzie would be good for any experience level. Novice owners should attend obedience training with Lizzie, which will help strengthen the bond.  Come meet Lizzie; maybe she will be your new best friend!
