Rudy
5 year old - Male
Adoption Update: 3/22/2023
“We just wanted to give you an update on our boy. He is doing great. He goes for a walk 4-5 x a day. He has met a few neighbors and a few dogs.
He never pulls so we switched from a harness to collar and still does great, no pulling.
Sleeps in our bed with us at night. During the day he sleeps where he wants, our bed, his bed or the couch.
We realized he like tennis balls, so we play with him an little inside with the balls.
Thank you again for picking us. He has been a great addition and we love him dearly.
As promised here are some pictures.”

About:
Rudy is a handsome, lovable boy. He's laid back, loves his toys, and listens well. He knows basic commands such as sit, shake and down, but will need help with walking as this boy pulls hard! A no-pull type harness will be required, i.e. Easy Walk or Freedom Harness. Obedience class is not mandatory but positive reinforcement classes are always fun and great for bonding, making new friends, etc. It may even inspire you to pursue some of the many popular dog sports out there these days! As Rudy was raised with children, he can go to a family with kids 6 or older. He also gets along with dogs and cats. A physical fence preferred as Rudy loves to chase squirrels and rabbits, but other forms of containment may be considered for an experienced or novice family committed to keeping him safe and well exercised.
